Research
and sourcing
We start with the project requirements to identify pieces, workshops and manufacturers. We assess options by design, materials, dimensions and availability.
Our deliverables include a considered selection, specification sheets and a comparison. We distinguish confirmed information from details that still need verification.
Bespoke
development
When a piece needs to be adapted to a space, we coordinate the manufacturer search, finish specifications, samples and approvals.
The manufacturer develops the technical solution and the design team approves its suitability. Materia Mirada supports the decisions and their documentation.
Period pieces
and antiques
Each period piece is assessed individually. We collect dimensions, photographs, condition information, details of interventions and any available documented provenance.
Acquisition arrangements take account of conservation, packing and transport. Specialists are consulted when needed.
Procurement
coordination
Following approval of the selection, we organise quotations, comparisons, authorised orders and production and delivery milestones within the agreed scope.
The client retains spending approval and purchases directly from the supplier under the agreed mandate. Our fees are presented separately.

Our search extends across Europe and Latin America. We explore period pieces, workshops, manufacturers and suppliers in both regions; availability, documentation and transport arrangements are assessed for each commission.
